

If you want to create your own custom theme, you can do so by going to the Customize Themes button and selecting “Create New Theme”. You can change the theme at any time by going to the Design tab on the ribbon and clicking the Themes drop-down menu. When you first create a Word document, it will have a theme that determines the font, color, and layout of your document. Microsoft Word is a word processing program that allows you to create and edit documents. You can then choose a theme from the drop-down menu under “Aa Theme”. To choose a new theme, click on the “Themes” tab in the top right corner of your document window.

These themes let you quickly change the look of your document without having to worry about changing individual formatting settings like colors and fonts. Now your text will be visible underneath the background image.īy default, Word comes with six different built-in themes. However, if you want to keep the background image but remove it from your text, you can do this by going to View > Background and then selecting “Transparent”. The background will disappear, along with any other images that were included in the theme.
